Methyl Phenyl Acetate, also known as methyl α - methylbenzoate. Naturally found in cocoa, coffee and strawberries. Colorless to light yellow oily liquid, with weak honey and musk like aroma, slightly sweet. It can be used as perfume for cosmetics, washing products, soap and indoor fresheners, modulating tobacco flavors, and can also be used to modulate aromatic flavors such as honey and chocolate for food, but also for intermediates in medicine and organic synthesis.
