Alpha-Pinene Ex Turpentine
Alpha-Pinene Ex Turpentine is one of the most abundant terpenoids in nature, which can be obtained from turpentine oil distillation. α - pinene is a colorless liquid with low viscosity. It has special pine wood aroma and turpentine like smell. After hydrogenation, it has rosin like aroma. It is insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol and ether, almost insoluble in propylene glycol and glycerol. α - pinene is an important raw material for the synthesis of borneol, camphor, Perillaldehyde and artificial oil. It can also be used to produce insecticides.
